2.28 吹砂

程序

按照MIL-STD-810G方法510.5程序II(吹砂)进行。

提高试验室的温度,并将试验品稳定在其高工作温度下。

按照试验计划中的规定调整空气速度。

调整送砂器,以获得从试验前校准中确定的砂子质量流速

在测试计划规定的时间内,保持步骤13的条件。如果需要,每隔90分钟重新调整测试项目的方向,使所有脆弱的面都暴露在吹沙中,并重复步骤1-3

如果需要对测试项目进行操作,在测试的最后一个小时进行操作测试,并记录结果。

停止送砂。让测试项目恢复到标准的环境条件。停止任何气流,让沙子沉淀。从测试设备上清除累积的沙子,注意避免将更多的沙子带入测试设备。

按照测试计划,对被测物进行操作检查。将结果与测试前的数据进行比较。

目视检查DUT,寻找磨损和堵塞的影响,以及任何沙子渗透的证据。记录结果。

标准

这个测试没有设定通过/失败的标准。它是探索性的。所有的结果都应该被记录和审查。

报告和行动

在测试过程中,必须采集和记录以下数据。

试验室的性能 - 应创建一个图表,显示试验室如何针对测试配置文件进行操作。最好是在同一张图上显示轮廓设置点和试验室的测量结果。

DUT操作 - 通常情况下,产品在测试过程中被操作,因此有内在的数据点,无论DUT是否运行。最好是将其记录为小到1秒的连续记录,但也可以简单到由技术员进行定时检查。

2.28 Blowing Sand

Procedure

Follow MIL-STD-810G Method 510.5 Procedure II (Blowing Sand)

 Increase the chamber temperature and stabilize the test item at its high operating temperature.

 Adjust the air velocity as outlined in the test plan.

 Adjust the sand feeder to obtain the sand mass flow rate determined from the pretest calibration

 Maintain the conditions of Steps 1 through 3 for the duration specified in the test plan. If required, re-orient the test item at 90 minute intervals to expose all vulnerable faces to the blowing sand, and repeat steps 1-3.

 If operation of the test item is required, perform an operational test during the last hour of the test and document the results.

 Stop the sand feed. Allow the test item to return to standard ambient conditions. Stop any airflow and allow the sand to settle. Remove accumulated sand from test item taking care to avoid introduction of additional sand into the test item.

 Conduct an operational check of the DUT in accordance with the test plan. Compare results with pretest data.

 Visually inspect the DUT looking for abrasion and clogging effects, and any evidence of sand penetration. Document the results.

 

Criteria

There is no pass/fail criteria set for this test. It is meant to be exploratory. All results should be documented and reviewed.

Reports and Action

The following data must be captured and recorded during the test:

Chamber performance - A plot should be created that shows how the chamber performed against the test profile. It is best to show the profile set points and the chamber measurements on the same plot.

DUT Operation - Typically product’s are operated during the test and therefore have the innate data point on whether the DUT is operating or not. It is best if this is recorded as a continuous record of intervals as small as 1 second, but it can be as simple as a timed check by a technician.
